On November 11, 2020, the European Data Protection Board (EDPB) issued two long-awaited sets of recommendations after the Schrems II decision, on supplementary measures for international transfer tools. These recommendations are of most importance for all organizations transferring personal data outside of the EEA.
On November 12, 2020, the EU Commission issued a new set of standard contractual clauses (SCCs) which is now subject to public consultation.
