The report reveals key trends in global privacy practices, including staffing needs, budget constraints, and the increasing integration of AI in privacy operations. With insights into privacy training, compliance, and breaches, the report emphasizes the importance of privacy by design, organizational alignment, and adequate board support to ensure effective privacy programs.
In this webinar, Punit will share a synopsis of findings and his opinion on findings while contextualizing from a European perspective.

 

Speaker: Punit Bhatia

Punit Bhatia is an award-winning strategist in privacy and artificial intelligence. He supports C-level executives (CXOs) and Data Protection Officers (DPOs) in over 30 countries to identify and manage AI and privacy risks, as well as to design and implement data and privacy strategies in a digital world increasingly driven by AI and cloud-based data. He helps companies adapt to the evolving landscape of artificial intelligence while ensuring compliance with data protection requirements.

Author of four books, including Be Ready for GDPR and AI & Privacy, Punit is an international speaker who has participated in over 70 events worldwide. He is also the host and creator of the FIT4PRIVACY podcast, consistently ranked among the top GDPR podcasts since 2020.

Punit is known for his clear, business-oriented communication style, avoiding legal jargon. He holds certifications as a Fellow of Information Privacy (FIP), CIPM, COP, CDPO, ISO 27701 Lead Implementer, and CIPP-E. He is the founder and CEO of FIT4PRIVACY, a trade name of Ek Advisory BV. He also serves on the board of ISACA Belgium, the Global AI Association, and DPO Circle. Previously, he was a board member of World Game Changers. Punit is a member of the Forbes Business Council and the IAPP.
