Throughout Europe, data protection is taking on an increasingly prominent role in laws and regulations. The need for thorough training for Data Protection Officers and general awareness is growing!

With the publication of the first version of what is now known as the General Data Protection Regulation, the role of a Data Protection Officer was added to the European data protection legislative framework. This was the starting shot for DPI as a training company.

Our first training course, the 5-day Data Protection Officer Certificate Training, started a small scale with a handful of candidates. They made our first training weeks a reality and thanks to their valuable feedback we improved our training week after week.

DPI has since grown into a leading training company in GDPR. Today we have trained 2000 professionals and we have a pallet of training courses for the Data Protection Officers!

Isaca Belgium Chapter

The ISACA Belgium Chapter is a not-for-profit association established in Belgium and is part of the global ISACA membership association; we have over 800 members and are one of the largest ISACA chapters in Europe.

The aim of the Chapter is to sponsor local professional development sessions, provide assistance for ISACA exam candidates, conduct educational seminars and workshops, and help to further promote and elevate the visibility of the IS audit, control and security profession in Belgium.

The association currently focuses on assurance, security, and governance and provides globally recognised certification in assurance (Certified Information Systems Auditor), security (Certified Information Security Manager), and governance (Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT).

The Cyber Security Coalition

The Cyber Security Coalition is a unique partnership between players from the academic world, the public authorities, and the private sector to join forces in the fight against cybercrime. Currently more than 100 key players from across these 3 sectors are active members contributing to the Coalition’s mission and objectives.
Their Mission is to bolster Belgium’s cyber security resilience by building a strong cyber security ecosystem at national level. They do so by bringing together the skills and expertise of the academic world, the private sector and public authorities on a trust-based platform aimed at fostering information exchange and implementing joint actions.

The Cyber Security Coalition focuses on 4 domains:

o Experience Sharing – Sharing knowledge, best practices, threats & opportunities
o Operational Collaboration – Peer-to-peer collaboration within a trusted community.
o Policies recommendations – Issuing recommendations for more efficient policies and guidelines.
o Raising awareness – Campaigns to raise awareness amongst citizens and organizations.
