The publication of the Omnibus document has sparked significant debate, as it challenges fundamental principles — much like certain rulings from the Court of Justice.
In this webinar, we will review the latest GDPR developments and answer all your questions.

 

Speaker: Jacques Folon

Professor Jacques Folon brings over 20 years of experience in data protection, advising major national and international, public and private organizations. He serves as an expert for the European Data Protection Board, and has led or participated in numerous conferences and webinars.

He is the founder and scientific director of two advanced training programs for DPOs, acts as an external Data Protection Officer (DPO), and is the founder of GDPRFolder as well as Vice President of Dpo Pro.

A lawyer, certified teacher, Master in Public Management, and Doctor in Political and Social Sciences, he is a Professor at ICHEC Brussels and a Visiting Professor at Rennes School of Business.

He has authored or contributed to around fifteen publications, including the “Practical GDPR Guide”, whose 6th revised and expanded edition will be released in May 2026.

He also writes a weekly column for Le Soir and regularly appears as a speaker and media commentator on privacy and data protection, providing insightful perspectives on the role of privacy in society.
