Mr. Julien Blanchez, Head of Customer Engineering at Google.

Topic: Google Cloud security and GDPR

Julien will give an overview of the most relevant security features of the Google infrastructure, which make the security criteria one of the main reasons for which customers adopt the cloud in general and GCP in particular.

He will also cover the compliance angle, highlighting the main contractual commitments making it possible for even highly regulated customers in the healthcare or financial sector to adopt Google’s services. Finally, he will share how Google addresses the post SchremsII uncertainty with a series of supplementary measures already in place anticipating the EDPB future recommendation.
